The Number 23

On friday night I went to see ‘The Number 23′ which is the new film from Jim Carrey. I have to admit at first I thought that the chances of another good film with Jim being serious were seriously low but how wrong could I be!

Much like eternal sunshine of the spotless mind The number 23 is gripping and full of tension, and also like eternal sunshine it has a twist at the end which you’d never expect! A lot within the film addresses paranoia and reading a book that relates to you and does contain some quite dark stuff like suicide etc but towards the end brings some great morals forward from the film finishing off by quoting the verse from Numbers which says ‘Be sure your sin will find you out’, it even gives the bible reference!

The film is well worth seeing and I recommend all readers of this blog and all of your friends to go!
